Weekend Eats at Boca Bistro

November 3, 2019

Lately I’ve seen more and more restaurants offering brunch on the weekends in an effort to draw in more hungry customers. While many places are going all in on brunch, I was pleasantly surprised to see what Boca Bistro was doing instead.

Rather than eliminating their lunch menu, they simply added to it. The “Boca Runch” is their attempt at appealing to both the brunch crowd AND the lunch crowd, and I’m into it.

They’re offering this new menu on both Saturdays & Sundays from 11:30am – 2pm. With a variety of egg benedicts, a waffle section & a loaded breakfast sandwich, there’s a little something for everyone (even those who prefer lunch!)

I personally ordered the three cheese omelette, which was super light, despite the surplus of cheese. More of a french-style omelette (aka very thin), it was accompanied by a lightly dressed salad on the salad.

I also think the waffle needs a shout out, because that baby was SO crispy while maintaining a fluffy texture on the inside. Don’t totally understand how they did it, but I loved it.

On the drink front, they’re serving bloody marys, bloody marias (tequila YAS), and mimosas.

Here’s a peek at some of the food in case you need more of a reason to check it out for yourself:

Marinated Olives & Warm Bread
Three Cheese Omelette
The Madrid Waffle with Fruit Compote & Whipped Cream
The Saratoga Benedict & Side of Potatoes
