Hi, my name is Ashley and I’m addicted to drunken noodles.
No really, I do have a crazy obsession with this Thai dish, and for good reason.
Drunken Noodles are normally made with flat rice noodles, soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, meat (and/or seafood), chili, fresh black pepper and thai basil. The truth is, they make the perfect drunk food. But I love it sober and that makes it even better.
It is spicy and it is DELICIOUS.
So you might be thinking… where do I get this dish?
Honestly, I’ve had it at Sushi Thai in Saratoga AND Clifton Park, as well as Bua in Malta. At Bua, it wasn’t very spicy but the flavors were still there, in Saratoga it was spicier but felt a little sloppy (like too much sauce.) But Clifton Park Sushi Thai NAILED IT – it wasn’t over sauced, it was spicy AF and it made for a dynamite meal.
I’m always looking for new favorites at restaurants I frequent regularly, and after many many years of pad thai at Sushi Thai, I’m relieved I have a new favorite menu item (for now!)
