Embassy Suites Saratoga Springs and Hilton Garden Inn Clifton Park Announce Make It Rain Campaign to Support Australian Bushfire Relief Efforts

Saratoga Springs – January 14, 2020 – The Diamond Club at Embassy Suites Saratoga Springs and 30 Park at Hilton Garden Inn Clifton Park have teamed together for the Make It Rain campaign to support bushfire relief efforts in Australia.

After seeing the relentless wildfires ravaging Australia and watching the death toll of wildlife and humans continue to rise, we decided we needed to act now.

Beginning Wednesday January 15th through February 1st when you make a qualifying purchase at The Diamond Club or 30 Park a portion of the proceeds will be donated to WIRES (New South Wales Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service, Inc.) and the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.

It is estimated that over 1 billion animals have been affected by the bushfire crisis. WIRES has been rescuing and caring for wildlife for over 30 years and is the largest wildlife rescue organization in Australia. The New South Wales Rural Fire Service has been the lead combat agency for bushfires for over 100 years.

New South Wales is the largest and currently the most affected area in Australia. The NSWRFS is an all-volunteer firefighter organization whose thousands of members are working tirelessly to combat these wildfires. It is important to us to not only support the wildlife rescue efforts, but the men and women who are putting their lives on the line every single day battling the fires. WIRES is another all-volunteer group that is working around the clock rescuing and caring for the homeless, injured and abandoned wildlife while Australians begin to rebuild their homes as well as the habitats for these animals.

The Diamond Club and 30 Park will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the following sold January 15th through February 1st:
 $5 from every Albany Distilling Co.’s Death Wish Vodka coffee vodka cocktail
 $2 from every Chandon Rose split or glass of Barossa Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
 $2 from every order of Taco Avocados or Not So Nachos
 $1 from every Miller Lite draft or Saranac draft

In addition to the above specials, on February 1st during Chowder Fest at the Embassy Suites 50% of all chowder sales will be donated and volunteers will be selling raffle tickets and have donation buckets available from 12-4pm.
