2015 Saratoga Wine and Food Festival

September 9, 2015

As you guys probably already know, the Saratoga Wine and Food Festival is what I look forward to every September. I hate to see the summer season go, but the beginning of September always marks the Saratoga Wine and Food Festival, and I love it.

This year the festival begins on Friday night with the second annual FIRED UP! Competition presented by Certified Angus Beef & Stella Artois and hosted by Spike TV’s, Josh Capon. From 7-10pm, watch as the Capital Region and Manhattan Grill masters battle it out for best region as well as best restaurant!

Here’s who’s participating –

Capital Region:

  • Angelo’s 677 Prime
  • Druthers Brewing Company
  • Henry Street Taproom
  • Mingle Saratoga

New York City:

  • Ben & Jack’s Steakhouse
  • Black Iron Burger
  • Dukes Original Roadhouse
  • Milk Burger

Tickets for this event are $85.

Moving on to the Grand Tasting, the admission for this is from 1-4pm, hosted by Food Network celebrity chef, Ellie Krieger!

Enjoy an array of exquisite foods created by more than 30 chefs in the Capital Region, culinary demos, live auction, and of course – wine on wine on more wine.

You guessed it – I love wine, in addition to my food addiction.

While there are hundreds of different wine and liquor vendors, I can’t name them all. But I can name the restaurant participants!

  • All Good Things Juice Bar
  • Capital City Gastropub
  • Dinosaur BBQ Troy
  • Druthers Brewing Company
  • Harvey’s
  • Healthy Living Market & Cafe
  • Henry Street Taproom
  • Maestro’s
  • Marrello Restaurants & Catering Jacob & Anthony’s American Grill & Bellini’s Italian Eatery

  • Simpson’s
  • Texas de Brazil

Tickets for this event are also $85, and for a day of drinking and eating, it’s SO worth it.

Now the big question is – will I be seeing you at the 2015 Saratoga Wine and Food Festival at Saratoga Performing Arts Center?
