In honor of the Travers Stakes, restaurants throughout not only Saratoga but the Capital District have pulled together for the 2012 Travers Restaurant Week. This week until Thursday, participating restaurants will be offering a 3-course menu for only $18.64. Just in case you were wondering, 1864 was the first year of the celebrated Travers Stakes, the oldest major stakes race for 3-year-olds.
