Restaurant Review: Three Vines Bistro

May 29, 2017

I posted on Instagram earlier a picture of my absolute favorite salad in Saratoga.

Some might think it’s simple, but the flavors on this salad are perfection to me.

At just $9, the Bistro Salad at Three Vines Bistro includes organic greens, lemon garlic white balsamic vinaigrette, oven roasted heirloom tomatoes, and topped with shaved parmesan.

What’s funny is that every time I go in there planning on getting that salad with some grilled shrimp on top, they read me the specials and something always catches my attention.

This night it was the eggplant pizza.

If you’ve been following this blog long enough, you know that I have a bit of a love affair with eggplant, and when it’s combined with my favorite food (pizza), my belly needs to have it.

Mama Mia’s has always been my go-to spot for eggplant parm pizza (and it’s amazing there if you’ve never had it!) but woah baby did this pizza give them a run for their money.

The mozzarella to eggplant ratio was soooo on point, and those little dollops of ricotta added just a hint of creaminess.

Even though this eggplant pizza was a special, hopefully it’ll keep coming back around since it’s almost eggplant season. Otherwise, Three Vines has several other pizzas worth tasting like the Purgatorio and the “Meet Lover” options. FYI – they also offer a Gluten Free crust if you’re into that kind of thing.

Next time you’re in the mood for salad and a pizza, do yourself a favor and check out Three Vines Bistro.

PS They have a ton of other great food too, if you like more things than just salad and pizza. Check out their menu here.

Looks good, but can’t do it based on principle. Their prices are too high.

Shrimp Oreganata for $15, Eggplant Rollatini for $13, 5 meatballs for $12?? I don’t call that over priced. And the family creates a warm inviting atmosphere where everyone feels at home. Terry and Joe behind the bar aim to please. I highly recommend this place.
