New Korean BBQ Creperie to Open

Boy oh boy do I have a juicy scoop for you…

How do you feel about the idea of crepes and Korean BBQ all in one restaurant? The answer is it’s awesome. And we’re getting just that.

Kraverie is opening it’s second ever location on Beekman Street in Saratoga Springs, in the old Marinos building. The first and original location of the restaurant is in Jersey City, NJ.

The concept of the restaurant all began when two much loved Jersey City food trucks merged in 2011 to create a quaint eatery serving up delicious Korean BBQ and tasty French crepes.

Fast forward four years later, they’re expanding – and to Saratoga. GAHHH I actually can’t even contain my excitement. Beekman Street is about to blow up. They’re aiming towards opening in the summer, but I’ll try to get more details on that!

That’s about all I have for now, but check out their Facebook Page or website to take a look at their menu.

HORRRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! And I can’t even tell you how the food is! I grew up in this neighborhood, that had amazing Italian restaurants on every corner and ate many “Scutters” subs at this location in the day. My wife and I went last night with our son, who was home for the Thanksgiving holiday. We were told It would be a 30 minute wait and we could sit at the bar and have a drink. We sat and were unnoticed by the bartender for about 5 minutes, waited patiently, had drinks and watched as a table opened up, was reset, sat empty for another 5 minutes and then watched as they sat another party that had just walked in the door!! UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE SERVICE!! THEY BASICALLY FORGOT ABOUT US!! When we were so upset, the bartender offered no charge for the drinks BUT, since my wife was so upset and “yelled at her”, we needed to pay for the drinks. I only hope that they can’t survive with great alternatives like The Barrelhouse, The Local, 63 Beekman and West Side Stadium only steps away. Pack up and go back to Jersey
