It’s Vegetable Season at King Brother’s Dairy

July 14, 2015

I’ve gotta tell you guys, Tuesday mornings for me lately have been like waking up on Christmas to fresh snow on the ground.

I thank King Brother’s Dairy for that, because I have the pleasure of waking up to a basket full of fresh produce every Tuesday, and that in itself is a real treat.

King Brother's Dairy

This is the view from the top of the basket from this week, obviously, but what you can’t see is how deep this basket goes. This week I was delighted to find zucchini, broccoli, corn, nectarines, tomatoes, wax beans, green beans, red cabbage, pickling cucumbers, potatoes, and MORE.

The best part? The cost to have all of these vegetables delivered to me every week is just $20.

$20!

I know, it’s almost unbelievable. I mean, realistically if I went to the store, I’d be spending far more than that for all of these vegetables, and chances are they wouldn’t be coming from local farms (unless I was at Healthy Living Market, of course).

If you haven’t heard of King Brother’s Dairy yet, you should probably check them out. Not only do they offer vegetable basket deliveries throughout the summer, but they also deliver Oscar’s Smoke House products, Willow Marsh Farm yogurts (OMG so good), and way way more.
