Giving Thanks in 2015

November 25, 2015

sff thanksgiving

Wow, what a year it has been. 2015 has been one of the most challenging years for me, with some incredible ups, as well as some recent downs.

Rather than taking this time to talk turkey or list some of my favorite recipes to try this Thanksgiving, instead, I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my readers.

You see, if it weren’t for all of you, I wouldn’t have had many of the great achievements I’ve had this year, including a tremendously successful 2nd annual Saratoga International Flavorfeast!

To have a group of people who listen, care, and even look to me for advice with regards to the restaurant scene in Saratoga, that alone is enough to feel extremely grateful.

This year, I’ve put this blog second to a lot of things happening in my personal life, especially recently. My dog was diagnosed with glaucoma in late September, and through the struggles of establishing her blindness to ultimately coming to the decision for her to undergo enuculation surgery, it’s given me great comfort to know there are people out there who will still stand by my side, regardless of how many times I can put up a blog post in a week.

For all of you who support me each and every day, I am forever grateful and thankful. Words cannot express how happy I am to be able to pursue what I love, and you’re all allowing for that to happen.

I wish you all a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving, full of friends, family, and of course, some amazing food.

I love you all! xoxo

I love reading your blog as I am sure many others do too. You work tirelessly to bring us the news of eating throughout Saratoga and for that I am thankful.
